Bosque Galicia II

Forest repopulation project of 55.19 hectares located in the Community of
Neighborhood Mountains in Mano Común de Couso in the Concello de Avión located in
Orense (Galicia).
This repopulation project, in addition to guaranteeing the sustainable production of
wood to supply the demand of the industry will provide great benefits
environmental conditions that will facilitate the recovery of degraded areas and help
counteract the effects of climate change by removing CO from the atmosphere. In addition
With the establishment of this mass, the colonization of the area will be promoted with
native flora and fauna species.
The species used in reforestation has been Pseudotsuga menziesii
also known as Douglas Fir, fast growing and adapted to the
climatic conditions of this region.
