Oceanic meadow regeneration project launched to provide an innovative and sustainable solution for environmental care and human health. Our approach is based on assisted regeneration of oceanic meadows, using both vegetative fragments and seeds. We are applying scientific knowledge and previous experiences to optimize the survival and growth of seedlings under controlled conditions.
The first pilot test has been developed in collaboration with Sanitas through the Eco-disruptive initiative. This initiative involved the implantation of a biodegradable one-square-meter sod composed of 36 Posidonia seedlings in the Mediterranean Sea, specifically in the Port of Torredembarra.
The project faces significant challenges, such as working on large surfaces and reducing implantation costs. We are exploring innovative solutions and collaborating with experts to address these difficulties and maximize the impact of our initiative.
