Forest repopulation project of 6.74 hectares located in the Community of
Neighborhood Mountains in Common Hand of Rebordelo, Cerdedo‐Cotobade City Council
located in the municipality of Pontevedra (Galicia).
This reforestation project aims to achieve ecological restoration of a mass
devastated by the fire that has not been able to recover without human intervention.
This action will provide a wide variety of ecosystem services to the area
such as regulating the water cycle, protecting the soil, removing carbon dioxide
carbon and the establishment of numerous plant and animal species.
The species used is Salix atrocinerea, native and adapted to the conditions
climatic conditions of this region.
