Its primary objective is to ecologically restore the area, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change by capturing CO2 and storing carbon. This initiative aligns with global efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and combat the long-term effects of climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The forest mass being established consists of a diverse mix of native hardwood species.
