In response to these challenges, we have made the decision to expand our operations to several Latin American countries, including <a href=\"https:\/\/co2revolution.es\/en\/projects\/\">Colombia, Honduras, and Peru<\/a>. Our primary objective is to restore degraded areas, working to combat the effects of climate change and protect the region&#8217;s ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among our reforestation plans it is this reforestation project in the community of Macashca, located in Huaraz, Peru. In order to start this initiative we have had the valuable collaboration of <a href=\"https:\/\/livingearth.org.pe\/\">Living Earth<\/a>, an NGO committed to environmental protection and sustainable development. This project focuses on planting more than 500 trees in the Andes Mountains, at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters. The species selected for this project include Que\u00f1ual and Radiata Pine, trees known for their resistance to the harsh altitude and climate conditions of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Que\u00f1ual, native to the Andes, is vital for soil conservation and water retention. This species helps prevent erosion and improve local biodiversity.
